Excellent show, My name is Melina C Markos CRPS, from Florida- Terri and I have been advocating for years in DC to bring light to this very topic. I’m a Family Advocate who has lived Experience of Dv and child welfare system involvement. this is a very real epidemic. Americans need to wake up and realize 600k children a year are effected, that’s 1 2 million parents- let’s do the math for 25 years. Thise numbers alone show the practices and procedures aren’t truly there to help families- it’s profit driven to keep taking children at all costs. Thank you for bribg this to light. I would love to share stories of families who have wrongfully removed - and how Family Advocates need to be implemented. we have a bill hr8866 Family Advocacy Act of 2024.
